Craig Manning :

Season 2

Craig arrives at Degrassi in season 2. He is marked as the character with the worst of problems in his first appearence, as he is abused by his father. Over the course of the year he makes friends with Sean, Marco and Spinner. He gets used to living with Joey, but is obviously shaken when his father is killed in a car accident in the season finale. He goes on a date with Manny, but later realizes that him and Ashley may have something together.

Season 3

Craig is officially dating Ashley at the beginning of the 3rd season. Unfortunately, after some relationship trouble he cheats on her with Manny, only to end up getting Manny pregnant. In the end he doesn't get either of the girls and has a hard rest of the year, finding some solace in winning the Battle of the Bands.

Season 4

The season opens as Craig receives a late birthday gift from his father, which he uses to buy a guitar. Craig later is able to get back together with Ashley after a realization that she's always been the most important thing in his life. Regardless of his diagnosis with Bi-Polar and some huge faux paus at Ashley's dad's wedding, she stays with him. Unfortunately for Craig, in the season finale his guitar is stolen and Ashley has left for internship in England for the Summer.

Season 5

After Ashley decides to stay in England effectively dumping him, Craig decides to swear off girls and concentrate on the band. When Ellie joins as the bands new drummer she hopes her and Craig's relationship can be more than business, but when Manny comes back into the picture and Craig is forced to chose between them, he chooses Manny. Later Craig wins a band contest, sans his band, and flies to Vancouver to record an album. He returns just in time to see his class graduate.

Season 6

In season 6, it becomes apparent that Craig has changed for the worst. While he does seem more confident, Manny discovers that Craig has turned to using cocaine. Ellie also discovers Craig’s cocaine usage, but when questioned, Craig points to Manny. Despite Craig’s addiction, Ellie helps him land a gig to open for the band Taking Back Sunday. Craig hopes to celebrate with Manny by taking cocaine, but when she refuses, they both break up. Ellie walks in shortly after Manny leaves and invites him to group therapy. He agrees to go but arrives late. Shortly before Craig is scheduled to open for Taking Back Sunday, Ellie threatens that she will inform Joey of his addiction. Craig is able to manipulate her by telling her that if she really loved him she would refrain from telling Joey. Once Craig goes to perform, his nose begins to bleed and the audience becomes less than impressed. Craig leaves for Calgary where he will attend a rehab center. While leaving, Craig tells Ellie that he really loved her, but she proceeds to walking away.

Season 7

Craig releases his first CD in season 7.
