Darcy Edwards:

Season 4

Darcy first appears at the car wash fund raiser held by the cheerleaders. She takes part in the school play for a little while, but later quits. Near the end of the season she makes good friends with Manny, Emma and Chante.

Season 5

Darcy gets involved with the outcasted Spinner and soon becomes good friends with him. Not long after they begin dating and she introduces him to Jesus through her Friendship Club at school. Darcy and Spinner's relationship goes through a lot of problems through the year eventually leading Darcy leaving for a Summer Camp not knowing whether she is going to be with Spinner anymore or not.

Season 6

Darcy takes on the title of Queen Bee at Degrassi in season 6. She rekindles her relationship with Spinner following a summer at bible camp, and starts her own blog. When this blog begins to attract attention, she begins posting more and more provocative pictures. These pictures begin to bring money in which will supposedly be used for the cheer squad. A hacker hacks Darcy’s account and threatens to blackmail her. Peter also decides to show the pictures to Spinner who ends up dumping Darcy. Darcy also manages to acquire a stalker. When this stalker shows up at Degrassi, Ms. Hatzilakos confronts and begins to question him. He departs from the school and follows Darcy to her home. Her younger sister ends up calling the police and getting the stalker arrested. Finally, Darcy ends up realizing that Peter is anything but boyfriend material. He apologizes for the online photo mishap but ones again lies to her when asked about his suspended license.

Season 7

Darcy does not start off on a good note in season 7. She goes on a ski vacation with Manny and Peter where she is raped at a party. Darcy is initially under the impression that she had intercourse with Peter. Jane, a girl from Lakehurst, happens to bring up her supposed activities with Peter at the Dot. Darcy is enraged at Peter for not keeping a secret and proceeds to leave. Outside, Peter informs her that he never had sex with her. Darcy asks Peter to cease talking with her. The rumor begins to spread at Degrassi, which subsequently leaves the Friendship club to turn their back against Darcy. One day as Manny and Darcy are talking, Jane is walking by and informs them that a rapist was present an Mt. Huron when Darcy was there. Manny then precedes to ask Darcy if she was raped, but Darcy blows off the mere prospect. The same day, Darcy goes to see her doctor to find that she is infected with Chlamydia. She reveals this to Manny, and says that she remembers a bad-smelling individual was on top of her the night of her rape, ruling Peter out as her partner. Manny insists that Darcy tell someone. With stress piling, Darcy attempts to kill herself in the girl’s shower room. She gets as far as cutting her wrist when Manny finds here. While at the hospital, Manny decides not to reveal Darcy’s rape to her mother. After returning to school, Darcy is forced to see Ms. Sauve. She does not fill her in on the circumstances surrounding her wrist cutting. She also reveals to Peter and Manny that she doesn’t wish to inform anyone else of the rape. Later in the season, Darcy attempts to reduce her sessions with Mrs. Sauve. She is successful at first, but fails once she gets into a conflict with Mr. Simpson. In an argument with Mrs. Sauve, Darcy mentions that she dislikes the sessions and ends up revealing that she was raped. Upon finding out, Snake apologies to Darcy and lets her know he is always willing to lend a hand. Aside from her rape, Darcy has a rivalry with Holly Sinclair this season. Indications of what’s to come for Darcy aren’t the least pleasing. Promos suggest that Darcy might get involved with drugs, an affair with a Lakehurst student, and an active sexual life.
