Craig receives the bad news that Ashley is not returning from England.

The season premiere of the fifth season crashes onto the scene with Manny anxious to pursue an acting career. However, after visiting with an agent, she realizes that in order to be taken seriously in the business she may need plastic surgery. After a fight with her father, Manny attends a party at Peter’s house and drowns her sorrows in vodka. Hopefully someone will take care of her in her drunken state of mind…
In the subplot, we see Ellie struggle to find the best way to tell Craig that Ashley isn’t returning from England. It’s especially hard because as we will see, Ellie and Craig have became quite good friends over the summer. In fact, Ellie may even like Craig in a more special way.
