Part One. D.tv: Emma can't control much of what's happening in her life right now, but at least she can control her weight.
CTV: Emma feels she has no control over her life, but is comforted by managing Manny's food intake so she can lose weight for an upcoming audition.

Insider Info:
“Our Lips Are Sealed” has gained more press coverage than any of the previous episodes this season. Which says something when three episodes previous, Kevin Smith was guest starring and two teenage girls made out (something I’m sure Kevin would give the thumbs up to). This episode, which is quite worthy of all the attention, will explore the extreme dangers of eating disorders seen through the eyes of Emma.

The story picks up roughly where we left off, the (Simpson)/Nelson household is in shambles. Snake and Spike have some serious issues to work out and pressure to keep things together at home is put on Emma’s shoulders. After Manny asks to help her lose weight for an upcoming audition, Emma becomes obsessive about it. The two then begin a diet regimen that quickly is taken to dangerous levels.
