Subplot:
Derek and Danny run into problems when their history teacher, Mr. Perino, doesn't appreciate them goofing off. But when things get heated, they have to figure out if he's just being strict – or if he's really out of line.

Well Sean – in fact – Emma ain't so perfect. And it looks like it's about time for you to find out what she did with Jay, while you were away. I recall a lot of people thinking Jay and Sean would fight over Emma in season 5… and while that's not the case here, they will fight ABOUT her. Particularly after Jay says "she damn near begged me to let her do it." And we all remember what she did.
The question that remains is whether or not "Semma's" relationship will be able to survive this test.
As far as the subplot goes, it could be a bit of a throw-away. Definitely has a Degrassi Junior High feel to it – which isn't a bad thing – though it would be nice to see a new twist on the 'teacher who goes too far' angle. We'll see
