4/09/2005 - Aubrey Graham Meets Rapper Pharrell
In a recent post made by "The-Mary" at the-n.com, she relays a message from Aubrey Graham. Within their messages they revealed a little bit about his solo music career that appears to be in the works. Aubrey is meeting with rapper/producer Pharrell (pictured right) today about a deal with StarTrak Entertainment. As one half of The Neptunes, Pharrell along with Chad Hugo spawned StarTrak. Some StarTrak artists include Snoop Dogg, Kelis, FAM-LAY, N.E.R.D. and Slim Thug; on top of that The Neptunes have either written or produce tracks for artists the likes of Usher, P. Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. If a deal should go down this would be the biggest music project by a Degrassi actor thus far. The full posts are below:

a) Ali's birthday was the 6th, which I HAD in my calendar and was going to tell you about but then I saw another calendar that said it was the 16th, and I trusted that calendar because it's The-Mary's law that if it's a fact about a birthday, I'll be wrong about it. b) Drake is Aubrey's band-type-thing but you already knew that if you're an N'sider reader.
c) He said I was exclusive!
d) That StarTrak thing is because he has a meeting with them tomorrow... that's Pharrell's label if you didn't know. So be ready to duck and cover tomorrow because that much hotness in one room might cause some sort of temporal disturbance in the fabric of space time. Anyway, Aubrey's about to blow up, and you can say you knew him when.

For anyone not familiar with The-Mary she writes an article "Notes from the N'sider" on The-N.com. And if you don't know who Ali is, she is referring to the actor who plays Ray on Radio Free Roscoe, who for those who don't know is one of Aubrey's good friends.
