5/7/2005 - An Important Message From DTNGHO
As many of you may be aware of, DegrassiTNGHO.com was recently hacked. In the process, for a short period of time our site had a few viruses and trojans uploaded to it. If you visited the site and everything appeared to be fine, then your computer is most likely fine as well. However, if you visited and saw pop-ups, pages not loading at all, some pictures not loading correctly, or anything out of the ordinary, you should perform a virus scan on your temporary internet files folder. We apologize to anyone who may have been infected.
We have done everything in our ability to take the necessary steps to avoid this from happening again. We have been in contact with our host and have blocked certain IP addresses that the attack may have came from. The site is now safe to visit.
DegrassiTNGHO's aim has always been to be the best Degrassi fan site on the internet, providing up to date news, columns and show press. We hope to continue to until the show runs it's course. However, if another situation like this arises, we may have to close the site for an unknown amount of time in order to protect you, our members from further infections.
