3/19/2005 - The Hangout Makes The Times; Woohoo! We Hit The Big Time!
As most of you already know somebody got a hold of an advance copy of The New York Times Magazine article we have been talking about all week, and have posted scans of it; and as many of you noticed "we" are in the article.
To answer questions I've been getting yes we did know this was coming. We were actually interviewed by the NY Times strictly for this article. We just wanted to hold it off as a surprise and also to make sure it was actually printed before announcing it. Once the article is officially released early Sunday morning I will put up a text version of it for you all to read, with a link to the NY Times website to read it there. Later in the day Sunday I also hope to have my own scans of the article up on the website. So tomorrow is going to be a busy day.
We here at DegrassiTNGHO are extremely excited about this article, not only because we are mentioned in it but it is also one of the biggest Degrassi articles ever and is in a publication as prestigious as the NY Times. I also want to say Ben Neihart did a great job writing the article as it is quite a good read and also greatly complements the show. It is great publicity for the show we all love and is of course the reason we even have this site.
