5/6/2005 - New Degrassi Starts July 1st In U.S.
A recent Instant Star Press release from PRNewswire all but directly states that Degrassi will return to the air with new episodes July 1st. This will also be the night that Instant Star hits the air waves. Instant Star will air two new episodes at 9pm. From this we can theorize that preceding, will either be Secret Part 1, along with alternate programming. Or possibly, Secret Part 1+2.
The following weeks will see new Degrassi's at 8pm, with Instant Stars following at 8:30pm.
A few excerpts from the press release read:
"From the creators of The N's hit series Degrassi: The Next Generation, the 13-episode half-hour series will debut with a special hour-long premiere of two back-to-back episodes on Friday, July 1, from 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (ET)."
"Instant Star will air regularly Friday nights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (ET), following its lead-in, Degrassi (8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., ET)."
