4/24/2005 - Season 5 Spoiler Confirmed; More News
Degrassi Executive Producer Stephen Stohn posted today on degrassi.tv that the spoiler Linda Schuyler gave on the CBC Radio One show "Sounds like Canada" last Wednesday is true. On the radio show Linda reportedly said "Someone's supposed to get pregnant next season. However, there will be a different twist this time." Stephen adds in his post that "you may be surprised."
In his post he also confirms the beginning of shooting for Season 5 to be May 9 as reported last week. Stephen also mentions in the post that he has just returned from Los Angeles where they did make some progress on the big project that is in the works but gives no hints just yet as to what it is. On one final note he confirms the release of the Degrassi book coming out to be August. His full post is below:
"Just back from Los Angeles, and I'll be heading back there in three weeks (in two weeks of course it's the first week of filming of Season 5 so I've GOT to be here for that!) We're making some progress on the big secret project but it's stll a bit early to give out any hints. I can confirm though that whatever Linda said on the radio about next season is true!! (And you might be be surprised!) In answer to one question, the book is coming out in August... "
