4/19/2005 - Date Set For Season 5 Shooting To Begin
According to www.cassiesteele.com, official shooting for the highly anticipated 5th season of Degrassi: TNG, will start on May 9th, 2005. May 9th will be a Monday, also the first day of the work week, making this report much more likely to be correct. This report also matches up with the timeline Exec. Producer's recent post at degrassi.tv hints at.
Speculation has it, that within the early days of shooting a new opening credits will be shot. This is of course unconfirmed, but using Seasons 1+2 and 3+4 as a precedent to the process, most likely new opening credits will be preceeding this years episodes. This is especially apparent with all the new and departed characters of the past season.
