4/30/2005 - Season 5 Shooting Date Correction; New Opening; Book Info
In a recent post made by Degrassi Executive Producer Stephen Stohn, he revealed a little bit about the shooting of Season 5 and one of the books scheduled to be released this summer. Apparently shooting is going to start on May 6th, not the 9th as earlier reported by Cassie Steele.com. Also, he mentions that a new opening sequence will be shot for this season, as speculated before on this site. The full post reads:
"Actually filming is going to start May 6th (originally we were going to shoot the new generic opening on the 6th but we've decided to push that to later)... last nigth our book publisher came over to the house to deliver the galley proofs of the Degrassi: Generations book that will be released in late August. It is AMAZING. Hundreds of pictures, and tons of facts about Degrassi that even Lidna and I had forgotten or never knew! The book will initially be released in Canada, the U.S. and Australia!"
